Sure, we could carve pumpkins with scary faces.
If we were NORMAL.
Alas, we are not.
So, I present to you: The Raising of the Flag at Iwo Jima.

Can I tell you how long my husband spent looking through the bucket of soliders for the the right 4 guys?
And, a tribute to Swine Flu.

And I had the flu while making it. Oh, the irony.
This is what happens when smart-alec journalists marry each other. Now you know.

That pig kinda looks like a cat…better not be foreshadowing…
I love you. And I really, really needed that laugh, so thanks. muac!
Normal? I’m not sure I know what that means. This, of course, coming from a woman who looks for the first vulture of fall. Who am I to judge?
Since I know y’all won second and third, I would love to see a picture of the winner… it had to be pretty amazing to beat those two!
While the Iwo Jima pumpkin is inspiring, I LOVE the swine flu pumpkin- too funny!
Above and beyond the call of duty! I love these!
we loved this – I showed it to my husband and he thought your husband’s pumpkin was genius!
Brilliant! We carved ours last night, and they pretty much look like every other pumpkin out there, except Foster gave his 3 eyes, instead of two. We’re not worthy!!! Cheers!
The pumpkins look great. Have to agree that I thought the pig looked like a cat–but Hey I couldn’t do anything nearly as good. Plus you were sick and you still carved a pumpkin-YOU GO!!
LOL, you guys are a hoot! What did the kids say? Where are their pumpkins?
